A Little History of Weaving
Weaving is an ancient art, the history of handloom fabric dates back to the Indus valley civilization. Researchers have discovered spindles and whorls in the excavation. every part of India has its own weaving style, from Kanchivaram in Tamil Nadu, Mysore silk in Karnataka, Banaras silk in Uttar Pradesh, Paithani in Maharashtra, Pathan Patola in Gujarat, Tussar silk, Soft silk, Muga silk, Organza and the list goes on... And each of these have their own unique language and beauty.
